Video Motion Detection VCR
Records video only when motion is detected. Our VMD chip (video motion detection) eliminates the need for a motion detector (PIR) to activate a VCR. This new technology turns this VCR into a Hi-Tech video motion detection activated VCR. Our VMD chip scans the video image looking for a change in pixels. When movement is detected the unit is activated for a predetermined period of time, then shuts off until movement is detected again. Note: This VCR is best used with hard wired cameras. It may be used with wireless cameras as well, but there may be some false triggers. Due to the nature of wireless cameras, this unit may not shut off properly when used with a wireless camera.
