| This 2.4GHz transmitter will transmit a video signal to the receiver that connects to the video-input jack on your VCR, TV, or computer. The standard range for this 2.4GHz Wireless Transmitter is up to 1000 feet line of sight. The transmitter is FCC Part 15 certified. This transmitter/receiver combo is video only. Both the transmitter and receiver are 12 volt DC operation. Power supplies for use with household current are included. This unit is designed for indoor use and cannot be used outdoors without proper precautions. Because this unit has 8 channels, you may be able to use up to 8 of these in the same area depending on what other wireless objects are in the same vicinity. We include a power splitter so you may be able to utilize only 1 power supply to power the camera as well as the transmitter. We also offer the 1195 in a High Powered version. You'll have double the line of sight capability. The 1195HP transmitter operates only on 6 volts DC. We include a 6 volt 1 amp power supply exclusively for the transmitter when ordering the 1195HP. This standard model and the HP model are both offered in a weatherproof housing on the outdoor wireless webpage. Receiver Dimensions: 4.5" x 2.5" x .75" Wireless transmission is not for everyone. Distance, quality, and
ability to transmit wirelessly will depend on how many obstructions and
what kind of obstructions are in the way such
as trees, houses, buildings, satellite dishes, wireless routers, and
even 2.4ghz cordless phones. If you have any of these around your home
or office, then begin by only purchasing one wireless unit as you may
find out only 1 or 2 channels is all you can attain. Simply connect any of our cameras to the transmitters video signal and plug the transmitter in for power. Then, connect the receiver to your TV, VCR, DVR, etc and plug in the receiver for power. The receiver can be in another room of your home, or office, or even a different floor.
