Monitors
and Quads
Below
is our selection of monitors and quads.
Please choose what you wish to view.
If
you wish to view more than one camera signal one only 1 monitor/TV, then
you will need either a quad, switcher, or multiplexer. Each one, however,
has slightly different features, and knowing these features will help
you decide what is best for you.
- Quad--Splits
your TV/Monitor into 4 quadrants, allowing you to view up to 4 signals
on any given monitor/TV.
- Switcher--Allows
you to connect as many camera inputs as the given switcher allows, then
sequentially, goes from one signal, to the next, showing the current
signal for a set time interval (which the user can set). You can normally
also pause on certain cameras, or bypass certain cameras as well.
- Multiplexer--This
is traditionally the most advanced (and consequently the most expensive)
of the 3 options. You can view any given camera at any time or show
4-16 (which you choose) cameras simultaneously on the monitor/TV screen.
