| A mulitiplexer can allow up to 16 cameras to be viewed on same screen simultaneously, with many other features as well. A multiplexer does much more than a quad. While a quad can view up to 4 cameras on one screen, a mulitplexer can view up to 16 cameras on one screen. A multiplexer may also be set to have groups programmed in to call preset combinations of 4 cameras to the screen at one.
