This DV series hidden camera has a built-in digital video recorder (DVR) which can operate on motion detection or "snapshot mode". These units are available with a color, black and white, or low lux B&W CCD board camera. The color version is 420 lines with .1 lux, the standard B&W version is 420 lines with .01 lux, and the low lux B&W is 420 lines with .0003 lux. The recording speed can be adjusted from as slow as 1 frame per minute to as fast as 10 frames per second. Simply plug the unit into an outlet and your done. No wires, no transmitters, no receivers. Completely self contained. When the SD card is full, just remove it, insert it into the card reader, and connect it to your computer's USB port to play back recorded footage. Included remote control allows you to arm and disarm unit as you wish. Completely silent when armed. No one will ever know this is a hidden camera. A 1 gig SD (Secure Digital) card will store approx. 3 hours of recorded footage at 10FPS or 30 hours at 1 frame per second. This unit can be programmed to record only when motion is detected. It will record only when motion is detected and will continue to do so until card is full. To playback images, an included SD card reader connects to the USB port of your computer or laptop. Insert the card into the card reader, click on the program Icon and a complete list of video clips, including time and date stamp, will appear on your screen. “Click” on any image and the video stream will play from that point on. You can speed up or slow down the video stream during playback. You can delete the footage on the card and reuse the SD card hundreds and hundreds of times. Or, you can download your images to CD, hard drive, Zip, or any other media of your choice that you have access to. It only takes seconds to delete the footage on the SD card to be reused again and again. Multiple user options, including masking areas you do not want to activate recording, can be easily changed by accessing the administrative portion of the SD card. When you reinsert the SD card back into the camera it will reprogram the DVR inside to your most current settings. Images can be recorded as fast as 10 frames per second (fps) or as slow as 1 frame per minute. Record duration after detected motion is also user programmable. Included 128Mb SD card will record up to 12,800 images. Larger cards (1Gb, 2Gb) will increase image capacity accordingly. Maximum size card is 2 gig.
